Coy Whisenant

DUBLIN ? Coy F. Whisenant, 87, of Dublin, a retired Conoco Oil maintenance man, died Friday, July 16, 2004, at a Dublin hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Forrest Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

He was born in Altoona, Ala. He was Baptist. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothy Whisenant of Dublin; sons, Greg Whisenant of Odessa and Leslie Whisenant of Pine Bluff, Ark.; daughters, Cathy Gregory and Janice Jennings, both of Dublin; sister, Grace Morris of Cheyenne, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
