Kevin Whisnant

Mr. Kevin Stacy Whisnant, 37, of the Pea Ridge Road in Morganton died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 3, 2004. Kevin was a former employee of Sigri Great Lakes.

Kevin was born in Burke County on May 24, 1967, to Levi Whisnant and Martha Powell Whisnant of Morganton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Jean Whisnant and a niece, Carla Faye Padgett Yates.

Kevin was a loving father of two daughters, Heather H. Whisnant of Morganton and Jessica E. Whisnant of Drexel.

Kevin was the youngest of 12 brothers and sisters, who are Patricia Whisnant of Glen Alpine, Levi Whisnant Jr. and wife, Ronda of Morganton, Jerry Whisnant and wife, Debra of Morganton, Geraldine Fox and husband, Derryl of Nebo, David Whisnant and wife, Shelia of Morganton, Connie Padgett and husband, Darrell of Glen Alpine, Steve Whisnant and wife, Libby of Morganton, Annie Arnette and husband, Ronnie of Drexel, Arnold Whisnant and wife, Marsha of Nebo, Michael Whisnant and wife, Ellen Ren?e of Morganton. He was a loving uncle to 21 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Calvary Assembly of God on the Pea Ridge Road with the Rev. Mike A. Whisnant officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
