Lois Whisanant

Lois Anniemae Whisanant, 64, of Jefferson, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, following an extended illness.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Jane Gee Bond.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Whisanant, Jefferson; sons, Harold E. Whisanant, Jefferson, Tim Whisanant, Wadley; daughters, Debra Whisanant and Linda Lancaster, both of Wadley; sisters, Brenda Freeman, Jefferson, Mary Gearin, Statham; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Charles Morrison and Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Park.
