Regina G. Whisnant

Mrs. Regina Gail Whisnant, 56, of Maysville, died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Athens Regional Medical Center of a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial was in the Oconee Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Whisnant is survived by her husband, Homer Whisnant, of the home; one son, Robert Homer Whisnant, Jefferson; her mother, Annie Ruth Bentley, Waco; one brother, Gary S. Bentley, Athens; one sister, Carolyn Bentley, Waco; and one grandchild.
