Otto Whisenant

Otto Whisenant, 95, of Orange died Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Community Hospital in Natchez, MS. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Rev. Rob Fisher of the First United Methodist Church of Orange. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Timpson, Texas, he had lived in Orange for over 50 years and was a retired electrician for American Bridge in Orange. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Ethel Whisenant. He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Rev. Joe Darrell and JoAnn Whisenant of Maud, TX, Keith Avis and Patricia Whisenant of Natchez, MS; five grandchildren, Dava Elaine Whisenant, Robert Prince Whisenant, Tommy Prevost, Jr., Kathy Smith, and Mary Perego; four great grandchildren, Katelyn Smith, Ian Smith, Hollie Perego, and Emily Perego.
