Madeline E. Whisnant

Madeline E. Whisnant, 90, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren. She was born May 21, 1916, in Detroit.

Mrs. Whisnant was employed with A&P Supermarkets for 12 years and TAG Motor Sales, Detroit, for 25 years. She was a member of the Roseville Chapter of the Eastern Star 468 and was a volunteer at St. John Hospital for 10 years. She enjoyed her family, reading, cards and bingo.

She is survived by her children, Norma (Wayne) Stone and Fred B. Jr. (Theresa); grandchildren, Fred B. III, Judith, Mary, Diana and Kimberly; and great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jayme, Andrea, David and Jordan. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred B. Sr.; and grandson, Keith.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
