AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Morris Larry Whisnant, 81, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Hazel Garland Whisnant, entered into rest on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Keysville Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Billy R. (Betty) Whisnant and Johnny C. (Tharesa) Whisnant; daughters and son-in- law, Joyce Wiggins and Mary Ann (Mike) Wilkens; brothers, Thomas Clifford Whisnant and Russell Whisnant; sister, Georgia Pearl Farr; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Mr. Whisnant was preceded in death by his sons, Morris Vaughn Whisnant and Larry Wayne Whisnant; brother Hubert Whisnant.
