Mrs. Martha Davis

GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, November 9, 2003, Mrs. Martha Whisnant Davis, 69, of Grovetown. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2003, in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Renew and Rev. Rafael Gutierrez officiating. Survivors include one son, John Wayne Whisnant, Sr., Martinez; one brother, Oscar Clayton Whisnant, Savannah; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar Whisnant and Sallie Pearl Kennedy. Friends may call at the residence of her son, Wayne Whisnant, 134 S. Belair Road, Martinez, 210-0491 or Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., at Starling Funeral Home, Hwy 78, Harlem, Georgia.
