Oscar Clayton Whisnant

Retired Painter AUGUSTA, Ga.- Entered into rest Wednesday, March 31, 2004, in Savannah, Ga. Mr. Oscar Clayton Whisnant, 63, husband of the late Mrs. Virginia Page Whisnant. Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2004, in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery, Harlem, Ga., with the Rev. Bobby Renew officiating. Mr. Whisnant, a native Richmond County, was a retired painter. Survivors include two daughters Melinda Horton, of Savannah, and Sandy Williams, of Kite; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and one nephew John Wayne Whisnant, of Martinez. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., at Starling Funeral Home, Hwy 78, Harlem, 706-556-6524.
