Mrs. Virginia Whisnant

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Virginia P. Odom Whisnant of Augusta, of Jannelle Drive, died in her home, February 1, 2002. She is the daughter of Mrs. Lucille McBride of Augusta and the late Mr. Harry M. McBride. She is survived by her husband, Mr. O. Clayton Whisnant Jr.; her sons, Darrell D. Thompson and his wife, Nancy of Thomson, Kenneth W. Odom of Augusta; her daughters, Faye Horton of Savannah and Sandy Williams of Kite; her sisters, Gayle Odom of Thomson and Michelle Palmer of Brownsville, Texas; and her brother, Bruce McBride and his wife, Darnell McBride of Concord, N.C.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Harlem with Bishop David Carlson officiating.
