Betty Kay Britt, 51, of Blytheville, Ark., died Tuesday, December 7, 1999, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born on Wednesday, December 1, 1948, in Hernando, Miss., the daughter of Coy Bertha Strange Whisnant of Steele and the late Alfred Ford Whisnant.

Britt was a homemaker. She was married on November 10, 1992, to a Jack F. Britt.

Survivors include her husband, Jack F. Britt of Blytheville, Ark.; two sisters, Geraldine Muse of Armorel, Ark., and Nancy Loretta Thorne of Steele; three brothers, Carold Dean Whisnant of Glendale, Ariz., Danny Lee Whisnant of Steele, and Billy Ford Whisnant of Sikeston; four step-children, Susan Alexander, Catherine LePlante, Lawrence Britt, and Robert Britt, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Services were held at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel on December 9, 1999, 2:00 p.m. Interment was held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo.
