Evelyn Eileene Whisnant Hill

Evelyn Eileene Hill was born in Howard Ridge, Missouri on February 6, 1925 and departed this life in Shawnee, Oklahoma on March 22, 2008 at the age of 83.

Sister Hill was married to Curney B. Hill in Wichita, Kansas on June 20, 1943 and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of the Paden Holiness Church. She had made her home in Paden since 1979. Prior to that time, she had lived in Oklahoma City for 30 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Carl Wayne Hill; one granddaughter; two grandsons; and one son-in-law.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Lee Hill, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Norma Jean Gibson, Enid, OK, Mary Ann Epperson, Lexington, OK; two brothers, Robert Whisnant, Cromwell, OK, James Whisnant, Bearden, OK; four sisters, Geraldine Meeks, Okemah, OK, Dorothy Crow, Shawnee, OK; Jean Cooper, Tulsa, OK, Joyce Parker, Odessa, TX; 15 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 2:00 P. M. in the Paden Holiness Church with Rev. Dickey Wilson and Rev. Dustin McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Dale Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
