Bertha Frank Whisnant, A Homemaker, died at Touro Infirmary on Monday, April 1, 2002. age 91 years. She was born in Pineville and lived most of her life in New Orleans. Devoted wife of the late C.M. "Tommy" Whisnant. Loving mother of T. F. "Pete" Whisnant and Donald R. Whisnant. Sister of the late Ernest Frank, Hardy Frank, Phillip Frank and Chris Frank. Grandmother of Wade D. Whisnant, Christopher D. Whisnant, Timothy F. Whisnant, Donald R. Whisnant, Jr., and Thomas R. Whisnant,. Mother-in-Law of Claudette D. Whisnant. Also survived by lovingg friend, Bertha Huff and 12 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Lake Lawn Metaire Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (In Metairie Cemetery) On Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. Visitation on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. Until 3:00 p.m.
