Glenwood - Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19 in Davis-Smith Funeral Home for Lola Evans, 93, of Murfreesboro, Bro. Keith Rowton officiated. Burial was in the Macedonia Cemetery near Sims under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home. Mrs Evans was born march 3, 1907, in Glenwood, daughter of Hamilton Wasson Whisenhunt and Dora Yandell Whisenhunt. She died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000. She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs Evans was preceded in death by: her husband, Ed Evans, on May 16, 1972;, a son Lloyd Evans; and a grandson. Dwayne Evans. Survivors include: three sons, ...., three daughters, ...., 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a sister Grace....
