DENNIS NELSON WHISENHUNT

The funeral for Dennis Nelson Whisenhunt, 56, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. The Rev. Lyle White-man will officiate. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Gate Ceme-tery.

He was born Aug. 22, 1950, in Shattuck to Halbert and Ava Nelson Whisenhunt and died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

He attended Gate schools and graduated from Oklahoma State University.

He married Deborah Zumwalt June 2, 1973, in Laverne. They made their home in Enid, where he was parts manager for Roberts Truck Center.

Surviving are his wife, Deborah of the home; one son, Robert Whisenhunt of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Amy Whisenhunt of Enid; his parents, Halbert and Ava Whisenhunt of Gate; one brother, Doug Whisenhunt of Gate; and two sisters, Judy Throckmorton of Alva and Joan Mosier of Tuttle.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis division.
