Jonnie Ruth Whisenhunt

Jonnie Ruth Whisenhunt, 88, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007.

Arrangements are by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Mrs. Whisenhunt was born Jan. 14, 1919, to Rueben and Eula Clark in Hall County. She married the love of her life, James Phillip Whisenhunt, in 1934, in Hall County. She was known to all that knew her as a family-oriented person. Her family meant the world to her. Jonnie is the last of her and her husband's family to pass on from this life. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Phillip Whisenhunt, in March 1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis LaFern McLaughlin and husband Louie, and Shirley Ruth Juliano, both of Amarillo; three sons, Rodger Kent Whisenhunt and Stanley Paul Whisenhunt, both of Amarillo and James Keith Whisenhunt and wife Gladys of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
