Sadie Whisenhunt Williams
ADVANCE - Mrs. Sadie Whisenhunt Williams, 75, of 1210 Beauchamp Road, Advance, died Wednesday morning, June 29, 2005, at her home. She was born Dec. 19, 1929, in Forsyth County to Maney Wesley Whisenhunt Sr. and Myrtle Hawks Whisenhunt. She retired after 40 years of service with Sara Lee (Hanes), was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and VFW Post 9010 Women's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by a brother, Maney Wesley Whisenhunt Jr. She is survived by her husband, Ernest J. Williams, of the home; a daughter, Connie (and Carl) Bailey of Advance; two sons, Ronnie (and Janet) Williams of Wlnston-salem and Ricky (and Judy) Williams of Advance; six grandchildren, Jeffrey (and Lori) Bailey, Jamie (and Scott) Naylor, Paul (and Andi) Williams, Mark Willlams, Angie (and Chuck) Brown and Philip Williams; six great-grandchildren, Joni Bailey, Haley Brown, Miranda Bailey, Ainsley Williams, Jake Naylor and Jesse Naylor; a sister, Annie Katherine Lane, of Clemmons; and three brothers, Haywood, Clifton and Raymond Whisenhunt, all of Winston-salem, A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am. Friday, July 1, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, with the Rev. Wayne Swisher officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, June 30, at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
