Bonnie Whisenhunt Lovell, 79, died October 15, 2008 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Drummond Cemetery in View, Texas under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 6:00-7:30P.M. at North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange.

Bonnie was born in Abilene, Texas November 10, 1928 to John and Tressie Whisenhunt. Bonnie married H.H. "Smokey" Lovell June 3, 1944 in Abilene, Texas. Bonnie loved country music and wrote songs which she sent to various country singers, including Marty Robbins, her favorite artist. In later years she enjoyed working for the school district in Collin County making meals for school children in the cafeteria and cleaning the classrooms for her favorite children.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband "Smokey" Lovell and one son Marty Lovell. Bonnie is survived by one brother, Charles Whisenhunt; one son: Jimmy Lovell and wife Patty; five grandchildren: Lance Lovell and wife Sandra; Kristopher Lovell, Kristin Lovell; Marten Lovell, Adam Lovell, Wendi Tipps and husband David; five great-grandchildren; Adelade and Austin Lovell, Houston, Landon and Addison Tipps; numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
