Mrs. Mary J. Payte

BOSWELL, OKLA. -- Mrs. Mary Josie Payte, 80, of Boswell, died Tuesday in
Memorial Hospital at Hugo. Born in Arkansas, Aug. 28, 1889, she had lived
here 65 years.

She leaves nine children: Mrs. Stella Drap, Fort Worth, Tex.; Mrs.
Belva Robinson, Spearman, Tex.; Mrs. Essie Burkhart, Mrs. Merle Hopkins
and Carvel Payte, all of Boswell; Mrs. Lettye Smith, Soper; Mrs. Medge
Self, Altus; Carmon Payte, Odessa, Tex, and George Paye, Henryetta:
Also 59 other descendants, besides three brothers: Curt and Dall
Whisenant, both of Myrtle Creek, Ore., and Bill Whisenant, Mena, Ark.
Coffey Funeral Home at Hugo is in charge of services.
