Jane M. Baker

Jane M. Baker (nee Whisenand), 55, a lifetime resident of Waukegan, IL passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Claremont Rehab and Living Center in Buffalo Grove, IL surrounded by her loving family. Jane faithfully served as a dedicated teacher in our Catholic School/Parish communities for 31 years. She was a graduate of NIU. She directed many school theater productions. She enjoyed building doll houses and her art work. Jane was the "Queen of Yatzhee", and also enjoyed playing with her 2 dogs, Bailey and Charlie, but her special love was spending time with her granddaughter Kayla. She is survived by her two daughters, Kelly and Sarah Baker; her granddaughter, Kayla; one brother, Ron (Cheryl) Whisenand; and two sisters, Susie Whisenand, and Donna (Stan) Kulczyk. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert; and her parents, Harry and Marlene. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 10:00am, at Queen of Peace Church, 910 14th Street, North Chicago, IL. She will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 29th from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, and from 9:00 until 9:30am on Thursday, at BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, 313 10TH Street, North Chicago.
