Wilma Berniece Whisennand

Wilma Berniece Whisennand leaves behind a loving husband of 63 years, a daughter, a son and their families. Wilma was born to Will A. and Ella H. (Rademaker) Schmale in Ragan, NE. Shortly thereafter they moved to a farm close to Huntley, NE where she went to school and graduated from Huntley High School. Wilma was unable to overcome a series of illnesses and as a result she passed away peacefully on July 6, 2010. Until the end Wilma still maintained her faith in God and in life, always trying her best to express this faith by her sweet kindness to everyone she knew and met. Per her wishes, Wilma will be cremated and buried beside her parents in Holdredge, NE. Wilma is survived by her husband Arthur, daughter Vicki McDarmont, son William Whisennand, son-in-law Robert McDarmont, daughter-in-law Jennifer Whisennand, two granddaughters, Stefanie (McDarmont) Parks and Haley Whisennand, and great grandson, Jackson Miller Parks. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 15, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, 317 East Kiowa, Colorado Springs, CO 80920.
