George Walter "Trey" Whisenhunt, III

Obituary in THE POST AND COURIER, Charleston, SC, 28 Jun 1997: St. Matthews - George Walter 'Trey' Whisenhunt III, 24, a security guard with Frigidaire Home Products, died Thursday in a Charleston hospital. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in Congaree Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg, will be in West End Cemetery. Mr. Whisenhunt was born in Orangeburg, a son of George W. Whisenhunt Jr. and Faye Fulmer Whisenhunt. He was a graduate of Calhoun High School and a member of Congaree Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents of St. Matthews; and two brothers, Terry C. Whisenhunt and Trevor L. Whisenhunt, both of St. Matthews.
