Sharon M. Whisenant

Sharon M. Whisenant, 46, of Sunny Valley, died Tuesday, May 26, 1987, at Southern Oregon Medical Center.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Leland Cemetery, with Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept. 18, 1940, in Grants Pass and lived in Sunny Valley all of her life.

She was a horse training instructor at Rogue Community College. She was also a member of Al-Anon.

Survivors include her husband, John G. Whisenant; a daughter, Shelly Dole; a son, John G. Whisenant; a sister, Zona G. Siikanen; all of Sunny Valley; and seven grandchildren.
