Charles E. Whisenant
NEDERLAND-Charles E. Whisenant, 78, of Nederland, Texas passed away September 8, 2007. He was born April 2, 1929 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Rhee and Azalee Stevens Whisenant. He was a deacon and member of 7th Street Baptist Church in Nederland.
He is survived by his wife, Jettie Louise Whisenant of Nederland; 2 daughters, Charlene Hudson and husband, Philip of Missouri City and Melissa Whisenant of Nederland; 2 sisters, Doris Arnette and husband Hershall of Temple and Wanda Ault and husband, Aaron of Grapevine; grandchild, Michal Hoeneer and husband, Travis of Madison; and 3 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Trevor, and Spencer.
Visitation will be Monday, September 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland.
Services will be Tuesday, September 11th at 2:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Toby Clements and Rev. Wilton McGowen officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches.
