Audnie Mae (Collins) Littlefield

Mrs. Audnie Mae Collins Littlefield, 94, of Marianna died on Monday, July 20, 2009, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala.

The funeral service for Mrs. Littlefield will be Thursday, July 23, 4 p.m. at the Magnolia Baptist Church in Whigham, Ga. The Rev. Johnny Burdick will officiate, and Chris and Tim Whisenant will assist. Interment will follow in Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service, 3 to 4 p.m. in the annex of the church.

Active pallbearers will be Larry Collins, Billy Boyette, Heathe Bryan, Bobby Simmons, Leon Bryan and Walter Frank Hand Sr.

Born July 12, 1915, to the late John Henry and Mamie Harrell Collins, in Whigham, and raised in the Magnolia Baptist Church community, she was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Marianna and a former member of the Magnolia Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sons: Thomas S. Whisenant (Wilma), of Marianna, and John Wayne Whisenant (Carolyn) of Fruitland; brother, Douglas Collins, Batesburg, S.C.; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands Henry Littlefield and J.T. Whisenant; and brothers and sisters, Lloyd Collins, Aaron Collins, Woodrow Collins, Edward Collins, Willie Bell Jones and Octavia Boyette.
