Jo Ann Morrison Whisenant

DENVER -- Jo Ann Morrison Whisenant, 59, of Denver, NC, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at her home. She was born in Hamlet, NC and was the daughter of the late Ralph M. and Katharine Barry Morrison. She was an employee of NAPA Auto Parts in Denver, NC.

Surviving are her daughter, Angelica 'Angel' Whisenant and fiance, Kelly of Shelby; sisters, Glenda McFalls of Conover, NC, Pam Burris of Phoenix, AZ, Sandy Jones and husband, Bill of Sherrills Ford, NC, Donna Hutchins and husband, Jody of Belmont, NC, brothers, Mitchell Morrison of Indian Land, NC and Harry Morrison of Charlotte; Aunt, Wanita Chavis of Rockingham, NC and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18th at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service. Arrangements are in the care of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.
