Vivian Whisnant

Vivian Bernice Whisnant, 72, of Bremerton died June 13, 2002, at Belmont Terrace Convalescent Center in Bremerton.

She was born May 2, 1930, in Kingston to Moise and Ethel Mae (Davies) Gadouas. She had attended North Kitsap High School.

She married Jean D. Whisnant in Kingston in 1960. He died in 1996.

Mrs. Whisnant had owned and operated The Drifters Tavern in Kingston.

She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was an avid Mariners fan and also enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include two sons, Mark D. Whisnant of Kingston and Jadee L. Whisnant and his wife, Beth, of Poulsbo; and eight grandchildren.
