Sue Kay Wolf
Sue Kay Wolf, 65, of Bonnie died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born Nov. 26, 1944, the daughter of Charlie and Reba (Pettypool) Whisenhunt. She married John Wolf on Jan. 12, 1967.Mrs. Wolf is survived by her husband, John Wolf of Bonnie; son Eric Wolf and wife Cassandra of Ina; daughter Christina Johnson and husband Bryan of Ina; grandchildren Derek Wolf, Abby Wolf, Emma Wolf and Bryan Johnson Jr.; sisters Mary Johnson of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Vernon (Edna) Denham of Minooka and Mrs Charles (Charlene) Williamson of Trenton. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lester and Melvin Whisenhunt. Mrs. Wolf was a member of the Hams Grove Baptist Church. She attended Mt. Vernon Township High School and Rend Lake College. She enjoyed volunteering at Lutheran Twice Nice Retail Shop.During her illness, in addition to her family, she enjoyed the companionship of her dog Ozzie and grandog Callie. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Mike Blackford officiating. Burial will follow at the Hams Grove Cemetery in Belle Rive. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. For those who wish memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
