Jimmie Whisenhunt

Funeral services for Jimmie Whisenhunt, 61, of Minden, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 19, 2005, at Rose-Neath Chapel. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Whisenhunt was born in Pike County, Ark. and was a retired painter. He died peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 16, 2005 after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Whisenhunt of Minden; three sons, Scott Whisenhunt and wife Christina of Romulus, Mich., Bill Whisenhunt and Jerry Whisenhunt and wife Penny, all of Huntington, Indiana; one daughter, Lisa Whisenhunt of Minden; and three grandchildren, Mariah, Jerry and Pryce Whisenhunt, all of Huntington, Indiana.
