Teresa Renee Whisnant Summers

Died Sept. 12, 2005

Teresa Renee Whisnant Summers, 42, of Forsyth County died Monday following a brief illness.

She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, LaCherisa Whisnant.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Summers, Forsyth County; son, Shawn Whisnant; daughter, Michelle Richards; stepdaughters, Jessica Summers and Lynn Goodwin; mother and stepfather, Carolyn Hammond and Brad Kujan; father, Hayward Bennett, Alabama; brothers, Tony Bennett and Kelly Bennett; stepsister, Teresa Reed; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends all day Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, at Crossroads Baptist Church. The Rev. Ronnie Coley and the Rev. Michael Spurr will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
