LaCherisa Dawn Whisnant, 23, of Canton, formerly of Cumming died Saturday.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Teresa and Michael Summer, Canton; brother, Shawn Whisnant, Canton; sister, Michelle Richards, Canton; stepsister, Jessica Summers, Alabama; and two grandparents.

The family received friends Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2004, at Cross Roads Baptist Church. The Rev. Michael Spurr and the Rev. Ronnie Coley will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
