Marcus Lee Whisenhunt

WHISENHUNT WINSTON-SALEM - Mr. Marcus Lee Whisenhunt, 55, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at his home. Mr. Whisenhunt was born October 29, 1953 in Georgia to Troy Franklin "Frank" Whisenhunt and Phyllis Bowden Whisenhunt. He was retired from RJR Tobacco Company after 27 years of service. Marcus was preceded in death by his father. Surviving to cherish his memory: is his wife, Judy H. Whisenhunt of the home; two sons; Aaron Lee Whisenhunt, Matthew Franklin Whisenhunt, both of Winston-Salem; a granddaughter; Jessica Leigh Whisenhunt; his mother; Phyllis Bowden Whisenhunt; and a special sister-in-law, Nancy Vios of Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 28, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, November 29 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The Whisenhunt family would like to express their appreciation for the care given to Marcus and the Whisenhunt family by the Nurses of Hospice of Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County.
