Jean Carrigan

TIOGA — Jean Carrigan, 68, of Tioga passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at her home. She was born in Wellington to Marvin E. and Zettie Mae Chambliss Whisenant. She married Bob Carrigan on Dec. 26, 1955, in Amarillo. She was a charter member of Friendship Baptist Church of Tioga.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, at Friendship Baptist Church in Tioga. Burial will follow at Tioga Cemetery. Dr. Bill Slayton and the Rev. Luther Slay will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey.

She is survived by her husband Bob, of Tioga; two sons, Ed and wife Sue Carrigan of Tioga and Danny and wife Lynn Carrigan of Tioga; she is also survived by four grandchildren, Kyle Carrigan, Danielle Carrigan, Jessica Carrigan and Troy Carrigan.

Services are under the direction of Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey.
