Geneva Ruth Files

MONETTE ? Mrs. Geneva Ruth Files, 69, of Monette, formerly of Leachville, died Saturday, Sept. 15, at Monette Manor Nursing Home.

Born at Leslie, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Annie Layton Whisenant and was a lifelong resident. She was a retired nurse?s aide and member of the Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Mr. Paul Riley.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Ray Files of the home; three sons, Paul Wayne Riley, David Riley and Larry Riley, all of Monette; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Randy Files of Monette; one sister, Annie Belle Allen of Iowa; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Leachville Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Tucker officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until service time in Howard Funeral Service Chapel at Leachville.
