Magdlean Whisenant

Funeral services for Magdlean Whisenant, 86, of Baileyton will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Doyle Bullard officiating, with interment in Hebron Cemetery in Hulaco.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Whisenant passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, at her residence. She was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Cullman County to Charlie Millard and Nannie Dyer Gregory. She was a member of Simcoe Church of Christ, loved working in her garden and raising her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnold Whisenant; a sister, Georgiejean Gregory; and two brothers, Buddy Gregory and Johnny Gregory.

Survivors include three daughters, Margie (Bennie) Johns of Baileyton, Joy (Wilton) McNiel and Colleen Weaver, all of Baileyton; a son, Arnold (Mary) Whisenant of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, I.V. Williams; a brother, Euel Harris Gregory; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
