Karen Marie Whisenant

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shiloh Cemetery for Karen Marie Whisenant, 22, Steele, who died Sunday, August 3, 2008. Johnathan Whisenant will officiate. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.

Ms. Whisenant was the great-granddaughter of Robert and Letha Whisenant and she attended Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James R. Whisenant; grandparents, Jeff and Bessie Morgan; and sister, Bessie Lee Whisenant.

She is survived by her parents, Jessie and Phyllis Whisenant, Steele; sons, Logan Brent Whisenant and Nicholas Keith Whisenant; sisters, Patricia Ann (Tom) Alexander, Steele, and Melissa Kay (John) Kowalewski, Steele; brothers, Jerry (Becky) Morgan, Steele, James (Brandy) Whisenant, Steele, Robert (Beth) Whisenant, Steele, Thomas (Lorie) Whisenant, North Carolina, and Corey Lee Whisenant, Steele; grandmother, Clara McMurray, Steele; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
