Ocie Mae Whisnant Blanton
MOORESBORO - Mrs. Ocie Mae Whisnant Blanton, 81, of 2719 College Farm Road, Mooresboro, died Monday, May 5, 1997, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clyde Blanton; and her parents, Lad and Dora Greene Whisnant.
A native of Cleveland County, she was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Neal Blanton of Mooresboro and Harold Dean Blanton of Shelby; one daughter Ruth Sarratt of Mooresboro; one brother Plato Whisnant of Belmont; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchilden.
Burial will be in Cleveland Memorial Park.
