Mary Whisnant

LAWNDALE Mrs. Mary Beatrice Powell Whisnant, 82, of Union Church Road, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Haven in the Hills in Bostic.

She was a member of Polkville United Methodist Church and Camp Call Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Foch Whisnant; and her parents, William Cohen and Lora Biggerstaff Powell.

She is survived by two daughters, Mala Whisnant Scott and Janet Whisnant, both of Lawndale; a sister, Dolleta Powell Goforth of Lawndale, a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Polkville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Smith officiating.
