DALLAS ? Glenda Kay Melton Whisnant, 49, of Old Philadelphia Way, died July 19, 2002, at her residence.

She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of Lawrence and Sue Hawkins Melton.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 p.m. today, Philadelphia Lutheran Church Cemetery

VISITATION: One hour before the service, Dallas Funeral Home

She was a member of Ridge Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: In addition to her parents, husband Jones Rosco Whisnant Jr., of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Steven Whisnant, of the home, Chad Whisnant and wife Crystal of Crouse; grandson, Luke Whisnant, of Crouse.
