Armcie E. Whisenhunt

Son of William Armcie & Pernecie A. Whisenhunt; he was brother of Rulee Eugene and James Earl Whisenhunt. All are buried in Arlington.

Armcie was born feet first on Christmas Eve 1924 and he passed away on Halloween day 1997. It would appear that his soul knew how to make an entrance and an exit (smile). He passed away shortly after arriving home and was simply sitting in a chair in the main room of the house. Armcie never married or had any children of his own. He lived with his mother, Pernece A. Whisenhunt, from 1956 on up to her death in 1977. He looked after her and when she was gone, he started looking after his sister, Almer E. Barrick. He was a hardworking, kind, generous and loving man.

He had some interest in his heritage and would accompany his brother, Lavon, on regular trips to the Whisenhunt and Young family reunions.
