GRANBURY — Alma A. Whisenant, 84, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Granbury.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at the First Christian Church in Granbury. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Martin’s Funeral Home. Burial: Acton Cemetery.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Whisenant, and two grandchildren, Shane Matheson and John Elkins.

Survivors: daughters and husbands, Barbara and Curtis Brister, Gloria and David Tomlinson, Charlene and Eddy Milburn, Beverly and Bobby Elkins and Cynthia and Bobby Willougby; son and wife, Chuck and Amber Whisenant; grandchildren, Greg Brister, Jan Melcher, Mike Brister, Richard Tomlinson, Lori Anderson, Mark Milburn, Jarrod Reed, Stephen Hamberlin, Michael Reed, Jeff Reed, Chance Elkins, Micah Elkins, Jeremy Willougby, Dustyn Whisenant and Jacobs Ervin; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
