Maudie Hoover
MULDROW — Maudie Ellen (Whisenhunt) Hoover, 85, of Muldrow died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a member of Long Church and the widow of Henry Hoover.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Long Community Church with burial at Long Cemetery in Long under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by one daughter, Freda Gawf of Muldrow; one son, Henry Ronald of Long; two brothers, Jack Whisenhunt of Kalamuth Falls, Ore., and Buster Whisenhunt of Cresent; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Gawf, Charles Mitchell, Chuck, Danny and Bruce Hoover and Jerry Whisenhunt.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends from 12 to 8 p.m. today and until 10 a.m. Monday
