Walter Raleigh Whisenant

Funeral services for Walter Raleigh WHISENANT, 78, of Muldrow were held at 10 a. m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Magellan O'Neal officiating. Burial was in Pioneer Cemetery, in Wagoner, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mr. WHISENANT was born Nov. 19, 1919, in Wagoner, to Marion David WHISENANT and Rose Etta (HUGHES) WHISENANT. He died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1998, in Muldrow. He married Vivian Marlin CHAMPLAIN May 31, 1941, in Wagoner. Survivors include his wife, Vivian WHISENANT of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jerry; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Linda; seven grandchildren, and two sisters, Flonnie and Jean. Mr. WHISENANT was preceded in death by one son, Jerry WHISENANT Feb. 15, 1994, in Tulsa.
