Edwina Ingram
Edwina Earlene "Winnie" Vaught Ingram, 81, of Moore, OK, passed away on December 17, 2008. Edwina was born May 18, 1927 to Hollis and Nevoda Whisenant in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Edwina graduated from Choctaw High School, where she was a member of the girls state basketball championship team in 1945. Edwina enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired from Tinker Air Force Base November 30, 1989. Edwina is survived by husband, William Ingram 2 sons, John Vaught and wife Debbie, Wayne Vaught and wife Cindy 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Nichols, Wendy Vaught, Shauna Vaught, Randi Vaught, Chelsea Vaught, John Vaught 3 great-grandchildren, Mason, Tyauna, Aa'Nyah 1 sister, Shirley McConnell and husband Bill 1 brother, Donald Whisenant and wife Vala Jo 1 sister-in-law, Laquita Whisenant Winnie leaves a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by parents, Hollis and Nevoda Whisenant first husband, John Vaught, Sr. 3 brothers, Hollis Whisenant and wife Nancy, Russell Whisenant and Raymond "Buster" Whisenant great-grandson, Dalton Nichols. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 20, 2008 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral and Chapel, Moore, OK.
