Chester Whisenant

BROOKLYN - Services were held Tuesday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home in Gulfport, for Chester Lee Whisenant, 54, of Brooklyn, who died Nov. 24, 2006, in Gulfport.

Burial was in Ladner Cemetery.

Mr. Whisenant was a resident of the Coast for 50 years and was a mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Whisenant of Brooklyn; his parents, Frank Whisenant of Brooklyn and Aline Whisenant of Gulfport; a son, Michael Whisenant of Brooklyn; two daughters, Tracy Whisenant and Delena Wilbur, both of Brooklyn; two brothers, Roger Whisenant of Gulfport and Wade Whisenant of Long Beach; a sister, Sharon Parker of Gulfport; and six grandchildren.
