Loretta Whisnant
SHELBY - Mrs. Loretta Whisnant, 52, of 1809 Petty Road, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at the Cardinal Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Lincolnton.
She is survived by her mother, Lula C. Whisnant of Shelby; a daughter, Bonita S. Whisnant of Shelby; seven brothers, Clearence Whisnant, James Whisnant and Arthur J. Whisnant of Shelby, Raymond Whisnant of Polkville, Ray June Whisnant of Cherryville, and Robert Whisnant and J.C. Whisnant of Cincinnati; a sister, Carolyn Huff of Shelby; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Brooks Chapel United Methodist Church in Polkville with Dr. T.A. Powell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Wheat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County.
