Janice Kaye Whisenhunt, 62, a cosmetologist, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, in Irving.

Funeral: 10 am. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel,with Jim McDoniel, minister of Legacy Church of Christ, officiating. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Janice was born April 30, 1942, in Mayfield, Ky. She was a cosmetologist for 30 years, working at Kismet Hair Design in Hurst. She took time to go to local hospitals to wash and comb patients' hair. She was a member of Legacy Church of Christ and a former member of Richland Hills Church of Christ, where she was active in Christian outreach mission efforts bordering South Texas, Mexico proper, and New Mexico. Janice also taught Christian women classes in several states. survivors: Husband, L. Russel Whisenhunt; children, Steve, Todd, and Mike Mozingo, and Lisa Fraze; and nine grandchildren.
