Mrs. Myrtle Whisenhunt

Mrs. Myrtle Ruth Whisenhunt, of Augusta, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church with Dr. David Jones officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. in Head of Tennessee Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillard.

Mrs. Whisenhunt, a native of Dillard, was a homemaker and schoolteacher. She was a member of Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Henry L. Whisenhunt Jr.; two sons, Kenneth M. Whisenhunt, Cleveland, Ohio, and Henry L. Whisenhunt III, Monument, Colo.; two daughters, Sara W. Mobley, Martinez, and Becky Whisenhunt, Atlanta; and two sisters, Sue Pennington, Dillard, and Barbara Hunnicutt, Waynesville, N.C.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.

Friends may call at the residence of Warren and Sara Mobley, 3753 Murray Road, Martinez.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Wheeler Road.
