Phyllis Jean Whisnant

WHISNANT, PHYLLIS JEAN - age 84 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville. Phyllis was a homemaker and loved to make afghans and give to family and friends. Preceded in death by: parents, Sears & Mildred Price. Survivors include: husband of 63 years, Joe Whisnant; sons & daughters-in-law, Lewis & Sandy Whisnant of Lenoir City, Dwight Whisnant of Bradington, FL, and Glen & Joyce Whisnant of AL; daughters & sons-in-law, Linda & Tim Studabaker of Boulder, CO and Carol Whisnant of Lakewood, CO; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three nieces of Indiana; several cousins. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. John Sharp officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville.
