Lucille Whisonant Hames
CHARLOTTE -- Mrs. Lucile Whisonant Hames died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. She was born September 4, 1930 in Smyrna, S.C., a daughter of the late Vernell Whisonant.
Burial will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, S.C.
Survivors include two aunts, Lillie Good and Pheobe Whisonant of Charlotte; six nieces, Mary E. Phillips (Johnny) of Gastonia, N.C., Lois A. Thomas (Wilmer) and Queen E. Bristol, both of York, S.C., and Hazel-Mae Howie (Clement), Patricia A. Miller and Vilene Lusk (David) all of Charlotte; two nephews, CJ Miller of Gastonia and Haywood T. Miller of Charlotte.
